Telemedicine
Launching of Tele-consultation for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy, launched on December 2023 (AYUSH Telemedicine on the E-Sanjeevani app) represents an innovative integration of traditional Indian medical practices with modern telemedicine technology.

To benefit critically ill patients who can’t reach out to experts in other locations, The E-Sanjeevani platform, a national telemedicine service launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has extended its services to include AYUSH teleconsultations.
This initiative allows patients from across the country to access healthcare services from AYUSH practitioners through digital means. It aims to make the holistic and preventive healthcare approaches of AYUSH systems more accessible to the general public, especially those in remote and underserved areas. Patients can now receive consultations, advice and follow-ups from qualified AYUSH Doctors without the need for physical travel, thus ensuring continuity of care, promoting health and wellness and integrating traditional healthcare wisdom into the digital health ecosystem.
